About Dr. Jen Bradley
Who I Am
I'm Dr. Jen Bradley, a licensed psychologist, college professor, and creator of the After the Noise Method™.
For more than 30 years, I've worked at the intersection of psychology and behavior change, as a licensed psychologist and a college professor, across clinical, educational, and community settings.
One question has followed me through all of it: why do capable people struggle to sustain change even when they know exactly what they "should" do?
That question is what led me to GLP-1 medications, and to the women navigating them.
My Story
I started tirzepatide with almost no support. I received compounded medication with no instructions, learned to inject myself from Facebook groups, and got no guidance from my own doctor on diet, exercise, or what to expect emotionally.
I have decades of clinical training. I still felt unprepared and alone.
That experience became the starting point for the After the Noise Method. If a licensed psychologist felt unsupported navigating the psychological side of this journey, most women are navigating it with even less.
My Philosophy
Lasting change doesn't come from shame, and it isn't a willpower problem.
Understanding creates freedom. When you understand what's happening in your body, your emotions, and your relationships, you can respond with intention instead of self-criticism.
My goal isn't simply weight loss. It's helping women build a healthier relationship with themselves.
Where to Go From Here
Everything you've just read is the foundation for everything I build. The After the Noise Method is where it comes together: a framework for understanding what a GLP-1 journey actually asks of you, and a way forward once you can name it.
